Delta Eta Beta, the academic village senate, has its eyes set on Monday, Nov. 24, as a possible day for an event dealing with breast cancer. The senate plans on raising awareness of breast cancer by bringing in a guest speaker.

“I’m really excited about the possibilities of this event,” Hillary Remmick, Delta Eta Beta vice-president said. “This could potentially be life-changing for students on campus.”

The event may be counted as village credit.

Senate members discussed plans for the event at their Oct. 28 meeting. Members also are considering having another game and movie night during finals week.

Details should be finalized at the next meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Village Hall at 9:30 p.m. All students are encouraged to attend.
